CWG Ghana Limited has received the ISO 9001:2015, a Quality Management System Standard that re-certifies it as a company that consistently provides world-class business enabling solutions.
The issuance of the approval certificate follows a rigorous assessment carried out by the Ghana Standards Authority (GSA) in compliance with international standards and best practices.
A member of pan African ICT company, CWG Plc, the recertification confirms that he has an effective QMS in place.
The fundamental systems provided through the ISO 9001:2015 certification include assurance on customer focus, leadership, engagement of people, process approach, improvement, evidence-based decision making and relationship management.
According to a statement by the Approval Committee of the GSA, “the quality management system applies to the provision of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) solutions to business entities in Ghana.
“This entails the provision of information and communication technology products and services solutions in the areas of infrastructure, software, communications and training that will ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction.”
Speaking on the importance of the certification, Oluwaseun Layade, Head, Project Management & Corporate Development, explained that “CWG Ghana shall deliver ICT Solutions that will add value to our customer’s operation, meet and exceed our customer’s expectation and we shall deliver them right first time and all the time.”
Harriet Attram Yartey, Managing Director, CWG Ghana Limited highlighted the significance of the feat to the company’s operations.
“This process goes a long way to show the level of commitment and extent to which our organization is willing to go, to assure our customers and other stakeholders that our systems and processes are all structured to ensure they consistently receive the best service from us”, she said.
“This recertification is an attestation to our continuous commitment to the provision of quality services per international standards through improving efficiency,” she added.
She consequently noted that the nurturing of performance and result-oriented culture, which is based on quality, is crucial in bringing about in-depth change in our operations to continually improve the delivery of services to all stakeholders.
The 9001:2015 certification reviewed CWG’s Customer focus, Leadership, Involvement of people, Process approach, System approach, Continual improvement, Fact-based decision making, and mutually beneficial vendor relationship replaces the older and phased out 9001:2008 certification.
