Newly confirmed Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives have been asked to be humble and dedicated to work to improve the living conditions of the people.They should also be open-minded, truthful and unite the people for development and work to raise the image of the party.Alhaji Sulemana Gado, a member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), in the Ashanti Region, made the call in an interview with the GNA in Kumasi on Thursday.He also charged the new officials to desist from corruption and re-organise the party structures in their constituencies.Alhaji Gado commended the Minister of Health, Dr. George SipaiAdjah Yankey, Mr. Haruna Iddrisu, Minister of Communications and Mr. Alex Tetteh Enyo, Minister of Education, among others for their work.He urged Dr. Yankey to show keen interest in the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), since it was the most important “life wire” for many Ghanaians.Source: GNA
