A 24th fixture of the Access Bank Division One League Zone 3 was rained off at the Kpando Sports Stadium in the Volta Region.
Kpando Heart of Lions were playing host to Old Tafo-based Susubiribi Sporting Club when the rains set in about 7 minutes into the game.
The officiating team allowed the game to progress until the 16th minute when the pitch began to flood, compelling the team to hold play after a crunch meeting with the captains.
Both teams were hoping to continue play but the rain continued until about 4 pm when the referees decided to postpone the game to Monday, 24th April 2023.
The fixture will be played at the same venue at 7:30 am.
Heart of Lions currently lies on top of the league table with 53 points, 14 points ahead of second-placed Semper Fi, while Susubiribi occupies the 9th position with 30 points.
