Hearts of Oak coach David Duncan is pleased enough with the determination of his team to hold Asante Kotoko to a 0-0 draw at the Baba Yara Stadium. It was a vital match to get Duncan's tenure as coach of the Phobians off, having just joined the team last week.Despite the host dominating possession, both sides failed to score in a goalless Premier League draw but for Duncan his team showed real determination."Even though we were on the back-foot for some part of the game, I say credit to my boys. We were very organized and focused," Duncan said."We had enough men behind the ball but Kotoko did better."We didn't threaten Kotoko that much. The telepathy wasn't there, they [Hearts team] haven't played together for a long time but we showed determination."He highlighted the few openings they created against Asante Kotoko and believes that if they had been lucky from a Laryea Kingston freekick in the first half, they could wrapped up all three points against their rivals."If Laryea [Kingston] had taken his first chance we would have taken all three points," added the Hearts of Oak coach.Duncan's next game, which will be his second, is the Accra derby against Liberty Professionals on Sunday.
