Rayo Vallecano forward Lass Bangoura has voluntarily abandoned the Guinea squad and will return to Spain in the next few hours.
The Guniean winger has taken this decision as a precautionary measure, due to the many cases of Ebola that have appeared in his home country, Guinea, and which have prevented the Guinea team from playing at home.
Morocco has since become the team's 'foster home' to host the game against Ghana.
Rayo Vallecano communicated to Lass about their concerns regarding his trip to Africa and advised the player to stay in Spain.
Meanwhile, Guinea will have to do without three key players - Guy Michel Landel (Orduspor, Turkey), Kamil Zayatte (Sheffield Wednesday, England), and Kevin Constant (Trabzonspor, Turkey) - who have suffered various injuries at their respective clubs.
The Syli Nationale lock horns with the Black Stars in back-to-back ties starting this weekend in Casablanca.
