Ghanaian international, Edwin Gyimah has completed his move to South African Premier Soccer League side, Bidvest Wits from Swedish side Helsingborg.
The club confirmed the deal after it became effective on January 1, 2018.
Gyimah had been training with Wits since November 2017 after the Swedish League came to an end. He had previously played for Orlando Pirates, Mpumalanga Black Aces and SuperSport United.
Reports in South Africa say that Gyimah jumped at the opportunity to work with Gavin Hunt again after their time together at SuperSport United.
Gyimah is part of a number of players signed by Wits in the January transfer window. However, he is the one to join immediately. The others, Robyn Johannes, Thobani Mncwango and Denis Weidlich, will join the team in July.
