Good hair is critical to a woman’s appearance and says much more about a woman than words would. It is therefore important that the hair be well kept and treated.
Nothing can be more frustrating than hair that refuses to style or fall in place. Having the hair act up on a Monday morning could be the corporate woman’s worst nightmare.
These are problems associated with keeping natural hair, especially when it is chapped up and dry. Dry hair can be remedied by visiting the salon (which can be costly) or making a homemade hair masks for treatment at home. Here are two solutions to damaged dry hair:
A. Olive oil mask
Olive oil is not only good for cooking but it can be a good tool for helping reverse the effects of dry damaged hair. It is great for conditioning and can help put the shine back in your hair. Remember to use good quality olive oil. Get 20ml of warm oil (not hot,you don't want to burn your scalp and hair). Grab a wide tooth comb and massage oil into hair while brushing with the comb making sure it's evenly distributed throughout the hair. Leave in hair for 30minutes and wash with a gentle shampoo. For really damaged hair, leave in hair overnight and wash in the morning.
B. Moisturizing and nourishing egg mask for dry hair
Combine one egg, one teaspoon of vinegar and two tablespoons of olive oil in a bowl. Mix together very well and apply to hair and comb through to distribute evenly. Massage into in order to promote good circulation. Leave in for 15 minutes and rinse.
Everything you need to make homemade masks for your hair can be found in your kitchen. Using these masks at least once a week can go a long way in helping you bid your biggest hair problems goodbye!!!
