At least eight people have been injured in clashes between the task forces of the Efutu Senya and Ga South Municipal assemblies.
The clashes are said to have been sparked by a boundary dispute.
Commander for the Efutu Senya task force Nana Adeiso, told Joy News his men were attacked for resisting attempts by the rival task force to collect revenue from within their jurisdiction.
According to him, the commander of the rival task force led his men in four vehicles who then went on a rampage, and attacked his men.
But the Security Coordinator for Ga South, Charles Konney has denied the claims.
He said members of the Efutu task force rather connived with some land guards to beat up his men.
