Six months into her pregnancy, mother-to-be Emily Ratajkowski is sticking to her tried-and-tested, fuss-free fashion formula. Just like other celebrity mothers before her – from Katy Perry and Sophie Turner to Chloë Sevigny – she’s continuing to wear pieces from her own wardrobe, rather than shopping for maternity clothes to dress in while expecting.
In recent weeks, EmRata – who is expecting her first child with her husband, Sebastian Bear-McClard – has shown off her bump in a coffee-coloured bikini, and gone low-key in a form-fitting dress and trainers.
Like those of us who have been WFH, she too has opted for luxe loungewear as the perfect, cosy-meets-comfortable winter wardrobe solution.Â
While out shopping for a Christmas tree in Los Angeles this week, she paired her Inamorata Serra sweatpants with a bump-hugging black vest.
Wearing a black Evolvetogether Milan mask (also a firm favourite of Katie Holmes), and a beige denim jacket shrugged on over her shoulders, the model kept it altogether casual.
Ratajkowski has been living in the Serra sweatpants from her own line in recent months, wearing the white set out and about in Los Angeles, and the paprika shade in New York in the autumn.
As the stretchy waistband hits just below the belly button, they’re perfect to see EmRata through her pregnancy.Â

On the footwear front, EmRata’s Veja Esplar sneakers and much-loved Adidas Sambas were on constant rotation through the summer months. Now, she’s been turning to her white Superga sneaks. Because picking out a Christmas tree calls for functional footwear, right?
With her husband and their dog Colombo by her side, the trio certainly looked in the festive spirit. The question remains: what party-ready outfit will EmRata pick to pose for the mandatory Instagram snap beside her decorated tree?
