Enterprise Trustees Limited is set to organize the first retirement Planning Fair in Ghana to raise awareness about retirement planning.
The event is scheduled to take place on August 4, 2022, at the forecourt of Enterprise Group Head Office, Advantage Place, Ridge, Accra.
The maiden edition of the Retirement Planning Fair is being held as part of the company’s 10th Anniversary Celebrations. The fair is expected bring to life in an engaging manner how individuals can prepare holistically for retirement.
Speaking on the importance of the fair, the Assistant General Manager (AGM) Advisory and Marketing for Enterprise Trustees, Hilda Owusu said the event is creating a platform to bring various stakeholders who play relevant roles in retirement planning together.
“The Retirement Planning Fair is taking a holistic approach to effective retirement planning. For instance, we are bringing our pension-backed mortgage service providers to discuss how members can use their pensions funds as collateral to purchase their primary residence during their work life. Again, we have psychologists, investment experts, Insurance advisors, real estate agencies, dietician and fitness experts among many others who will give guidelines to assist planning effectively for the future.”
“This event is for both the young and old who are interested in taking practical steps to plan effectively for the future,” She added
Other activities scheduled for the day is a series of drama skits by the Ghana Dance Ensemble to communicate the importance of retirement planning through play. There will also be a kid’s corner to entertain children.
