Acting Head of Sports at Joy 99.7 FM, Mr Ernest Koranteng, is now married.
Mr Koranteng tied the knot last Saturday with a pretty woman, Adeline, who he describes as the love of his life.
Mr and Mrs Koranteng were joined by friends and family at the Pekan Hotel at East Legon to celebrate the nuptial union.
Several personalities including Marketing Manager of MTN, George Andah, were there to grace the occasion.
Indeed, members of the sports fraternity did make an impressive representation with the likes of Carl Tuffour and Michael Oti Adjei there.
It was not in doubt that the "Joy FM Acapella group," made up of Morning Show producer Kofi Ansah, Business Desk Editor, Israel Laryea, and Read 100 Manager, Benjamin Adu Boahene, were the toast of the occasion.
Whilst Adu Boahene displayed his dexterity on the base guitar, Mr Ansah activated his vocal cords to produce the finest rendition of Coffee Black, sung by Don Williams.
For Mr Laryea, who is also 'affectionately' called B.B. Laryea in the Joy FM newsroom, the least said about him, the better.
Master of Ceremony Kojo Oppong-Nkrumah described him as a 'bouncer' in the singing group formed just on the eve of the day of the wedding.
For Ernest, it was the happiest day in his life because he had been able to translate into reality his long-held wish of leaving the bachelors' world.
Good music oozed from the loud speakers, all moderated by Sound Kitchen, one of the capital's finest event sound providers.
Meanwhile, Ernest has finally returned to work after a week's honeymoon at an unknown location.
He leads a team of great sports journalists who have passion for the job and a vision to be different among their competitors.
