Revelations by the Brazilian Ambassador to Ghana that Ghanaian fans have bought tickets meant for the physically challenged for the 2014 World Cup – vindicating Africa Origin’s CEO warning that buying tickets online is dangerous.
The Chief Executive Officer of Africa Origin, Samson Deen had cautioned the Sports Ministry, the criterion that fans should go online to purchase tickets or before they can be issued visas was too cumbersome.

The Sports Tourism entrepreneur of the year advised, government should have accredited Travel agencies with proven track records to do the purchase on behalf of interested individuals.
Brazil’s Ambassador to Ghana H.E Irene Vida Gala has come out to vindicate this position after she revealed, some of the tickets presented by applicants will mean they will have access only to areas designated to the physically challenged.
Her outfit nevertheless granted these applicants the visa.
This means the affected fans will be able to make the trip to Brazil but will have serious difficulties in gaining access to the match venues.
Ghana will be making a third successive appearance at the finals this June.
The Black Stars are drawn in a tough group alongside Germany, Portugal and USA alongside Germany, Portugal and USA.
