FBNBank Ghana is set to unveil the First Current Plus Account, an innovative product tailored to enable customers carry out their banking transactions in a flexible more and convenient way.
The product is in line with the company's commitment to easing customer experience.
First Current Plus Account, a hybrid of the Bank’s savings and current accounts, uniquely exempts customers from paying service charges (no Commission on Turnover) while allowing them to earn attractive interest per annum on their account deposits having maintained the required minimum balance for both the individual and corporate customers respectively.
This account also affords customers real time e-mail and SMS notifications on their transactions.
Mr. Gbenga Odeyemi, the Managing Director of FBNBank Ghana while speaking on the new product said the introduction of the First Current Plus Account is one of the many innovations tailored to meet the financial needs of customers, and helping to expand the businesses of customers as well.
He said the user-friendly nature of the account ensures that customers always have a convenient and reliable way of doing their financial transactions.
“By opening a First Current Plus Account with us, customers will have the peace of mind to perform important transactions on the go, while confidently knowing that they have direct access and control of their finances,” he said.
Mr. Odeyemi highlighted other innovative solutions that FBNBank Ghana has rolled out to serve various segments of the market, including the recent introduction of the Wari – a remittance service solution.
The new product is targeted at entities such as Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), premium customers, commercial, corporate clubs and associations, restaurants, churches, as well as hotels, among others and individuals.
Other benefits of this account include daily interest accumulation, personalized cheque book, debit MasterCard, free monthly e-statement, three free monthly withdrawals and access to loan or overdraft.
Customers with this account also enjoy access to carry out their banking transactions on the Bank’s convenient and secure online banking platform.
