Fiaseman Rural Bank Limited at Bogoso in the Prestea Huni-Valley District of the Western Region has received five prestigious awards in one week.
The awards include The Chamber Rural Bank of the Year – 2017 by the Ghana National Chamber of Commerce & Industry; 37th Company on Ghana Club 100 - 2017; Rural Bank of the Year Award by the Association of Rural Banks, Ghana, recently in Bolgatanga at the Association’s Biennial General Meeting and Excellence Awards; Best Rural Bank in the Western Region and Loan Financing Bank of the Year 2017 – 2nd Runner Up.
In a citation presented to Fiaseman Rural Bank by the Ghana Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Bank’s exceptional performance and added value imparts through its operational performance, has succeeded in placing the communities in which the bank operates in the limelight.
Fiaseman Rural Bank’s presence in twelve different locations in the Western Region shows the Bank’s potential to be a trailblazer in the rural and community banking space.
The Bank posted a total asset value of approximately GH¢ 105 million in the year under review as compared to a little over GH¢ 89 million in 2016.
The Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives in the area of education, health, community development among others continue to place the Bank on the mission to perpetual glory as the bank is appreciated for its sterling services.
In another citation presented to the bank by the Association of Rural Banks, Ghana, Fiaseman Rural Bank proved its duty of transforming the lives and businesses of its shareholders and has proved itself a worthy choice at the 3rd Edition of the Rural Banking Excellence Awards
The Bank has not relented in its vision of becoming the leading and preferred Rural Bank in the face of competition from equally competitive Rural Banks.
The Bank has also touched and transformed the lives of many through Corporate Social Responsibility schemes which continue to position the bank firmly in the heart of their beneficiaries.
The Bank’s interest in the business of its customers is remarkable and has sustained this for many years.
In recognition of these remarkable accomplishments and the Bank’s contribution to the rural banking industry, the Association of Rural Banks, (ARB) - Ghana conferred on Fiaseman Rural Bank Ltd, The Rural Bank of the Year – 2017
The General Manager of the Bank Mr Kaedabi Donkor says the bank is committed to service efficiency and quality as well as a responsibility to impact society particularly the communities in which the bank operates.
According to him, these recognitions rather motivate them to intensify the work efficiency and to improve upon the bank’s operational performance.
In a brief remark after the presentation of the award Mr Donkor said he was grateful to the board and management as well as the entire staff, as he recognizes their unique individual role and contribution which saw the Bank win these prestigious awards only in one week.
He finally dedicated the awards to the bank’s cherished customers and all relevant stakeholders, saying their loyalty with the bank has brought them to this enviable position.
