Samuel Affum powered Hearts of Oak to their 20th league title after a tortuous journey especially in the second half of the season. Affum’s two goals were what the Phobians needed and they got them at the expense of relegation-bound Sporting Mirren who got nothing out of the game. The second round of the season saw a 14 point buffer for Hearts whittled down to a single point.
