Listing and trading in the five-year Government of Ghana bonds has started on the Ghanaian bourse, paving the way for investors to be able to buy and sell their bonds.
The five-year bond has a total value of ¢756.6 billion and prospectus value of ¢650 billion.
The bond which was issued in December last year was over subscribed by 16.4 percent largely due to the first time participation of non resident foreigners.
The medium term bond has a coupon rate of 14.47 percent per annum and interests will be paid in June and December each year.
