At Kamaboi the floods are such that all inhabitants have had to evacuate the entire town. “In communities Eben, about 80 buildings have fallen flat to the ground”, Member of Parliament for the Amenfi West Constituency, John Gyetua disclosed this to Asempa News on Sunday and said members of the district assembly were doing all they could to bring help to the affected communities. He is also urging the National Disaster Management Organization to come to the aid of displaced persons. The Amenfi West MP said the flooding had not only affected his constituency but in communities such as Pensanom, Aboifie, Nakom and Aboi all in the Amenfi Central constituency that borders Amenfi West have also been affected. In communities like Kamaboi, about 200 persons have been displaced. Mr. Gyetua said all roads leading to Samraboi have been cut-off making journeys from Asankragua impossible.
