Board member of Accra Hearts of Oak, Frank Nelson Nwokolo, has urged the Black Stars not to be distracted by the security concerns in Cairo ahead of next Tuesday’s playoff return leg against Egypt.
The renowned football administrator has been clamouring for the Stars to stay focus despite the safety of the venue.
But after Monday’s reported Ghana FA meeting with FIFA general secretary Jerome Valcke, the Hearts adninistrator has asked the players not to panic.
“There should be no worries for the players,” Nwokolo said in an interview with JOY Sports
The Ghana Football Association will on Thursday send a delegation to Egypt to familiarize themselves with the security arrangements that have been sent to FIFA.
Egypt will host Ghana at the Air Defense Stadium on 19 November trailing 6-1 from the first leg.
