German Chancellor visits Ghana

The German Chancellor, Her Excellency Dr Mrs Angela Merkel, is expected to arrive in Accra today, Thursday July 1, 2010 at 10pm en route to South Africa. A statement signed by the Minister for Information, Hon. John Tia Akologu, said the German Chancellor would be met by the Attorney-General and Minister for Justice, Hon. Mrs Betty Mould-Idrissu. The statement said the Chancellor who is accompanied by a 40-member delegation will leave for South Africa at 2350 hours. She will again pass through Ghana on her way back to Germany on July 4, 2010 at 1220 hours and depart at 1350 hours from the Kotoka International Airport. Story by Myjoyonline.com/Ghana
