The highest decision making body of the Ghana Football Association, the Executive Committee convenes on Wednesday for its first meeting of the year.The Committee will discuss the disbursement of the prize money from Ghana’s participation in the World Cup as well as the Audited Accounts of the GFA.There has been controversy in the media over the $4.5 million Ghana earned from participating in the World Cup.The Committee will also deliberate on whether to extend the mandate of the GFA’s General Secretary whose tenure has expired.The meeting will also consider several proposals for the review of the federation’s Statutes and Regulations and the programmes of the various national teams.The 22-member Executive Committee includes the President of the GFA, his Vice President as well as the various Regional FA Chairmen.
