The pace of digital innovation and transformation is increasing – entire markets, including transportation, logistics, and e-commerce, are being reinvented across the globe.
Despite the recent economic challenges, there is no doubt that Ghanaian businesses are ready to seize the opportunities in this digital economy.
Under the theme “Digital Innovation Economy for Business Growth” the annual Ghana CEO’s Summit 2017 will provide a platform for discussions on possible solutions to the issues facing the advancement of digital innovation in Ghana.
Speaking to Joy Business, CEO of the Chief Executive Network Ghana, organizers of the Ghana CEO Summit, Ernest De-Graft Egyir said building a powerful digital economy is essential to creating a competitive technologically advanced business environment.
“It starts with Awareness, and this is why the CEO Summit creates a platform to discuss issues such as this to create the awareness and find solutions,” he said.

Speaking on government’s promise to use the private sector to spur development, he said “Government has no business doing business” adding that he is hopeful that private sector players and government will build stronger synergies to enable a productive business environment for private sector stakeholders in the country.
The annual Ghana CEO Summit will bring together over 500 CEO’s, business leaders, government officials and entrepreneurs across the globe for a forum among business leaders within emerging markets.
The event will highlight various issues in the business community including harnessing young talent, especially in the area of technology.
The Summit will be a two-day summit held from May 22 to May 23, 2017.
