Tema Youth's head coach Isaac Opeele Boateng has described his side's failure to go past Liberty Professionals in their outstanding Glo premier league clash as a lost opportunity.
For coach Opeele, a victory or drawn result could have powered his side to the summit of the five week-old competition.
"The opportunity presented itself for us to dislodge Kotoko from the top spot but we have blown it," the young coach said.
He blamed the loss to flaccid defending on the part of his rear, saying "We conceded a bad goal due to floppy defending and we failed to convert the many goal scoring chances that came our way."
Coach Opeele, however, congratulated his side for a spirited performance, taking into account the fact that it was their first time playing under floodlights.
Responding to his side's chances in the week seven league fixture against giant killers Sporting Mirren, this Sunday, he noted that "It's a must win game and we would employ the best of tactics to claw all the three points."
Despite going down 0-1 to Liberty, coach Opeele revealed that his high tactics which nearly changed the scores stirred ace coach, Jones Attuquayefio of Liberty to congratulate him for a good job done.
