Ghana's Black Starlets will have to get past Senegal in the final qualifiers for the 2011 African Under-17 championships in Rwanda next year.
The Senegalese reached the final stage by the skin of their teeth on the goal rule despite being hammered 1-4 by Guinea in Conakry over the weekend. But Senegal scrapped through on account of their 3-0 win in the first leg two weeks ago.
Ghana reached this stage after a 3-2 aggregate win over Zambia over two legs and assistant coach C.K Akunnor believes his side will go through after the final round of qualifying.
"The boys were nervous in the beginning but as the game wore on they go better," he said.
"With more time on the training ground we should get considerably better and qualify for the tournament."
