The Ghana Football Association is considering proposals to play Brazil in a friendly encounter on March 27 in Sweden.
Brazil who play Chile on March 24, put in the request to play the Black Stars after a Ghana/Argentina match fixed for that day fell through.
According to the Vice President of the FA, his outfit will take a firm decision on the proposal by Monday close of Monday.
But ahead of the confirmation Fred Pappoe believes a Ghana/Brazil encounter will boost Ghana’s preparations towards the Nations Cup in 2008.
He said Ghana needs to play very tough oppositions to be in the best of shapes and playing Brazil would be great.
He said issues such as the host association and security set up approving of the match, as well as participation terms are issues to be sorted.
Swedish newspapers claim Brazil is negotiating to play the Black Stars in Stockholm, Sweden on March 27.
Brazil plays Chile in Gothenburg on March 24 and is hoping to meet Ghana three days later.
According to the report, the Swedish FA has confirmed that Brazil has asked to hire the stadia in Gothenburg and Stockholm for the matches on those days.
