Asante Kotoko must get their act together quickly to return to winning ways to restore their invincibility as the Ghana Premier League continues this Wednesday.
The realities of the League finally hit Kotoko on Sunday as they dropped points for the first time this season by ending their six-game unbeaten run.
Still smarting after their defeat to Bechem United, the Porcupine Warriors welcome Berekum Chelsea to the Baba Yara Stadium in the midweek top-liner.
The Berekum side have their troubles of their own having won just a game in seven matches but they will be eager to test Kotoko's readiness after their first defeat.
The Accra derby is another big game for the league as Hearts of Oak play home to Liberty Professionals.
Liberty are on the up after climbing to seventh following their 4-2 victory over Aduana Stars and that has left coach George Lamptey excited with the progress made by his side ahead of their meeting with the Phobians.
“Like I said before my team will improve match after match and I believe if we continue this way we will end up in the top four,” the Liberty said.
Reeling from the loss to Liberty, Aduana will return to the Agyemang Badu Park where they take on third-place AshantiGold.
In Bekwai, New Edubiase will battle it out with Heart of Lions.
At the T&A Park, Medeama will be seeking to improve their run of results as they chase their second win in the league with the visit Amidaus Professionals.
King Faisal will travel to Cape Coast to face Ebusua Dwarfs whiles Hasaacas make the journey up north to take on Wa All Stars.
Bottom side Inter Allies will also attempt a giant-killing feat just like their opponents for Wednesday, Bechem, who stopped the Kotoko, did when they play at the Tema Stadium.
