Ghanaian boxer Osumanu Yahya has put himself in contention for an international title after beating American Jonathan Reid on Friday night in a Super Welterweight contest in the USA.
Osumanu Yahya, also known as Ossie Duran won by a unanimous point decision after winning every round in the 12 round contest.
Yahya recorded his third straight win since making a switch from London to campaign in the US. The former Commonwealth Welterweight Champion said his ambition was to win the World Super Welterweight title before the end of the year.
Osumanu Yahya could return to the ring in May for the championship bout.
