Ghanaian forward Emmanuel Mensah helped FC Arges Pitesti secure promotion to the Romanian Super Liga with games to spare in the Liga II.
Their promotion to the top flight was confirmed on Tuesday night following their big win over CSM Resita in the Promotion Round.
Mensah, nicknamed 'Baby Jet', was not involved in the win in midweek but has been a key player for the club since arriving during the winter window.
The 20-year-old joined the club from CFR Cluj in January after struggling to get regular minutes with the top-flight side.
He has featured in nine games for the club since his arrival, starting six of them. During that time, the Ghanaian has scored three goals while averaging 49 minutes per game.
It remains unseen whether the player would stay at the club next season as he is set to return to his parent club, but Mensah would be looking to finish the season on a high.
