The God Babies of Gilsan Manufacturing Company beat Rehoboth FC (House of God International Prayer Ministry) on penalties to lift the maiden Kasoa Corporate Soccer Fiesta organized by Talented Multi-Media Company Limited.
After a one goal apiece, God Babies showed class in the penalty shoot out scoring four goals as against Rehoboth FC’s 3 to carry the day.
The eventual winners reached the finals after stopping Ewutu Emasa Rural Bank at the Semi Finals by a lone goal. Rehoboth also defeated Neighbourhood Fun Club by one goal to nil to book a ticket to the finals played at UNI Star Academy Park.
Ewutu Emasa Rural Bank, who were considered the underdog, humiliated Neighbourhood Fun Club to place third in the tournament.
The winner of the soccer fiesta took home a trophy, football and plaque of participation. The second, third and fourth positions also received a football each and plaque of participation deserving of their positions.

Deputy Manager of Ewutu Emasa Rural Bank, Patrick Tieku, commended Talented Multi-Media Limited for bringing corporate organizations in the Kasoa environs to workout.
This, he said, afforded the bank and other institutions the opportunity to interact with their clientele and win more customers.
Chief Executive Officer of Talented Multi-Media, Eric Akoto described the event as a huge success looking at the participation of the targeted institutions.
He said the event would be made a yearly affair, promising exciting prizes for participating organization that would emerge tops.
“This is an opportunity for the company to showcase to the rest of the world that it is not only excellent when it comes to boardroom matters, but on the field, it is also best at it. We have been doing the same thing over and over again for years, it is time for corporate institutions in Kasoa to step outside the confine of their offices, shake off the boredom, and work themselves out with fun.”
