The Ghana League Clubs Association,GHALCA, has contracted marketing communications firm Global Media Alliance to help organize its competitions.
By the end of the three year contract, GHALCA-exclusive competitions like the Top 4 and President's cup must be attractive and marketable to potential sponsors.
Albert Commey who is in charge of media relations at GHALCA told JOY Sports "we've contracted Global Media Alliance for three years because we want them to take charge of all the other products we have, not only the Top Four and in order to rebrand the image of GHALCA. They are supposed to source for sponsorship for the organization and also manage the products for us. We need to brand the products very well so that they can attract sponsorship."
GHALCA failed to organize its flagship event, the Top Four last year citing the lack of funds as the reason.
