Sickle cell, a condition killing many people especially children, is one of the most-talked about diseases in Ghana. It is estimated that about 15,300 out of the 850, 000 babies born in Ghana each year have the Sickle Cell disease.
They are mostly SS or SC. Strangely in some parts of Ghana, sickle cell is not seen as a medical condition rather a spiritual one which must be fought the spiritual way. Join Joy News' Seth Kwame Boateng as he takes you on a journey into the world of people deemed to have "cursed cells"
