Hyundai Motors & Investments Ghana Limited has launched one of the most anticipated vehicles of the year, the completely redesigned luxury 2026 Hyundai Palisade, believed to overtake most of the modern brands in the market.
At the event held in Accra, the nation's business leaders, automotive experts, and discerning car enthusiasts were given a first-hand look at the new flagship SUV that promises to set a new benchmark for luxury, space, and technology in its class.

Second Secretary and Consul at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, Shin Donghyun (L) and Country Manager for Hyundai Motors Ghana, Mr. Ganesh Y. Phadale (R) unveil all-new 2026 Hyundai Palisade.
The all-new Palisade arrives in Ghana with a bold, more commanding presence, a suite of cutting-edge technologies, and, for the first time, an advanced hybrid powertrain option, signaling a new era for Hyundai in the premium segment.
Speaking at the unveiling ceremony, Mr. Ganesh Y. Phadale, the Country Manager for Hyundai Motors Ghana, emphasized the launch's significance beyond just introducing a new model.

The 2026 Hyundai Palisade
"The 2026 Palisade is a testament to Hyundai's global innovation and our unwavering commitment to the Ghanaian market," he stated. "From the beginning, Hyundai’s vision has been clear to provide mobility solutions that combine quality, technology and affordability, making modern driving experiences accessible to everyone. This Hyundai Palisade 2026 vehicle represents a bold step forward in fulfilling that vision”.

A New Standard in Design and Performance
The 2026 Palisade has been completely reimagined, shedding its predecessor's curves for a more robust, squared-off design.
Second Secretary and Consul at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, Shin Donghyun, tests the all-new Hyundai Palisade 2026 for the first time.
The commanding front grille, distinctive vertical LED headlights, and a longer wheelbase give it a more substantial and upscale silhouette. The new model is larger in every key dimension, translating into a more spacious and comfortable cabin, especially for third-row passengers.
Its exterior adopts Hyundai's latest "bold and blocky" design language, characterized by a more upright silhouette, vertical LED daytime running lights, and available 21-inch alloy wheels that give it a commanding road presence.
With three showrooms in Ghana – Accra, Kumasi, and Takoradi – buyers in Ghana will have compelling choices:
A key highlight of the 2026 Palisade is its powertrain diversification, offering buyers in Ghana both robust traditional power and segment-first hybrid efficiency at their five showrooms in Ghana located in Accra, Tema, Kumasi, Tamale, and Takoradi.

For eco-conscious buyers, the Palisade features a 2.5-litre turbocharged engine with a dual-motor system, targeting an impressive combined output of up to 329 horsepower and a targeted driving range of up to 619 miles on a full tank, making it highly attractive for long-distance travel across Ghana.
All models come equipped with Hyundai’s HTRAC® All-Wheel-Drive system, featuring new terrain modes for 'Mud,' 'Sand,' and 'Snow,' making the Palisade perfectly suited for Ghana’s diverse road conditions, from city asphalt to adventurous upcountry tracks.
An Oasis of Luxury and Technology
Inside, the 2026 Palisade elevates the passenger experience to new heights. The cabin is an oasis of calm and sophistication, crafted with high-quality, soft-touch materials. The dashboard is dominated by a stunning panoramic curved display that seamlessly integrates two 12.3-inch screens—one for the digital instrument cluster and one for the infotainment system.
Highlights that make the new Palisade's interior outstanding include:
The 2026 Palisade’s interior has been completely reimagined to offer a near-luxury experience, focusing heavily on convenience and safety:
- Premium Relaxation Seating: A standout feature is the available Relaxation Seats for both front- and second-row passengers. These seats offer generous recline and deployable upper-leg supports, designed to significantly reduce fatigue during extended journeys on Ghana’s roads.
- Digital Cockpit: The driver is greeted by a curved digital instrument cluster and infotainment system, featuring dual 12.3-inch displays with standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and 14 Bose engineered speakers.
- Safety Innovation: Hyundai introduces several advanced safety features, including a built-in dual-camera Dash Cam that provides continuous recording while driving or monitoring nearby movement while parked—a valuable security feature in the region.
- Convenience: The cabin is equipped with 100-watt capable USB-C ports in every row, a UV-C sanitizing tray in the center console for sterilizing small items, and Digital Key 2.0 Premium, allowing owners to lock, unlock, and start the SUV using a compatible smartphone or smartwatch.
- Nappa leather seats: Luxury vehicles like the Palisade are designed to provide an unparalleled driving experience, and one key element that enhances comfort and sophistication is the use of premium materials. Nappa leather is a top choice for high-end interiors. Soft, smooth, and exceptionally durable, it delivers aesthetic appeal and lasting comfort. Automotive brands like Mercedes-Benz incorporate Nappa leather to elevate the driving experience.
- Ventilation cooling seats: The car is fitted with ventilated cooling seats that use fans to circulate air through perforated seat upholstery, creating airflow that moves heat and moisture away from the occupant's body.
Commitment to Safety and Local Economy
Hyundai has fortified the Palisade with its latest SmartSense suite of active and passive safety features.
Standard technologies include Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Blind-Spot Collision Warning, Lane Keeping Assist, and Navigation-Based Smart Cruise Control, creating a safety shield for occupants.
Mr. Phadale concluded the event by reaffirming Hyundai's dedication to its customers with a comprehensive 5-year/100,000-kilometer warranty.
"We are proud to highlight that we are assembling all seven Hyyndai Models, including this new Palisade 2026 right here in Ghana, at our state-of-the-art assembly plant in Tema, one of the finest in the nation".
The 2026 Hyundai Palisade is now available for viewing and pre-orders at Hyundai showrooms across Accra.
