A presidential aspirant of the New Patriotic Party, Mr Aboagye Agyarko, has promised to improve the financial situation of party executives at the constituency level when elected the party's presidential candidate.
He said the current situation where constituency executives were neglected and felt disillusioned must stop, as politics was no religion for people to expect rewards in heaven.
Mr Agyarko, an economist with the Bank of New York, USA, was addressing the Buem Constituency executives as part of his tour of the Volta Region to galvanize support for his bid.
He said if given the nod he would revive the sagging spirit of supporters and executives to strengthen the unity of the party for victory in the elections.
Mr Agyarko said under his leadership, executives would be considered as employees of the party and put on salaries.
He said it was only when people saw changes in the lives of party members that they would flock to join it.
