Highlife musician Kofi Kinaata says he has no intention of engaging any rapper in a lyrical battle, popularly known as rap beef.
According to him, he serves as a living example for his nieces and nephews, demonstrating that a career in the arts industry is a viable and respectable path despite familial scepticism.
Speaking on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, on Thursday, Kofi Kinaata stated that there was a pushback from his family when he began pursuing his music career.
Consequently, he is committed to ensuring that his family never have cause to criticise him for failure or association with negative influences as an artiste.
Additionally, he did not want any rap beef to bring criticism to his family.
He believes that his choices shape his future and influence perceptions about unconventional career paths for future generations in his family.
Despite being aware of rap disses aimed at him, Kofi Kinaata says he chooses not to respond to them.
Instead, he prioritises releasing quality music for his fans, focusing his energy on creating meaningful content rather than engaging in conflicts.
