On Monday 15th December, 2014, the Danish Government, represented by the Ambassador, H.E. Ms. Margit Thomsen, and Mr. Franklin Cudjoe, Founding President and CEO of IMANI Center for Policy and Education signed the Agreement that will see IMANI receive financial support over the next four years as the Organization partners other CSO’s and Government agencies in a bid to help improve the country’s ailing Tax collection and mobilization system.
Ambassador Margit Thomsen and Mr. Cudjoe also used the occasion to discuss the future of Ghana.
As an Organization we are very excited for the opportunity to work with an important development partner like the Danish Government, as well as other prestigious CSO’s and key Government agencies in finding constructive solutions to one of the most thorniest challenges that has plagued almost every Government since independence.
Earlier this year, Mr. Cudjoe was asked by the Danish International Development Agency to sit on the board of its private sector arm to essentially advice on a $ 75m private sector support to Ghana
