The board of the International Monetary Fund is likely to approve the disbursement of yet another tranche of its extended credit facility to Ghana.
The facility is meant to help in reducing poverty and accelerating growth.
Some 218 million of the 602 million dollar fund which is supposed to be disbursed over a three-year period has already been advanced.
IMF Executive Director with responsibility for Ghana, Mohammad Jafar Mojarrad has told Joy Business the country is likely to receive the next tranche before the end of the year because the Fund is satisfied with its review process.
Meanwhile, a five member IMF mission is in town to carry out their third review on progress made so far by Ghana under the program.
