Ghana defender Isaac Vorsah has been offered a lifeline to rresuscitate his career at FC Liefering.
The Austrian lower tier side have taken up the 27-year-old following the expiration of his contract with giants Red Bull Salzburg.
The centre-back joined Red Bull from Hoffeinham in August 2012 where he went on to make 18 appearances for the club that season. But a knee injury and subsequent complications blighted his bright start at Red Bull. Vorsah got injured in Spring 2013 and has since failed to attain full recovery in order to get match time.
The one-time Ghana national team regular has had his wounds healed after close to two years.He now has a cance with Liefering to work his way back to his former self and get better to compete again at the highest level of the game.
Vorsah is currently undergoing rehabilitation training with the club. Liefering is a development club of Red Bull Salsburg in Austria.
