The Insurance Hub, organised by Equity Health Insurance, returned for its second edition with a sharp focus on empowering clients and fostering financial literacy among Ghana's youth.
The event, held on October 30, at Wesley Towers, Methodist Ghana Towers, Accra, served as a platform for dialogue between industry leaders, young professionals, and clients, all working together to address the critical need for accessible and client-centered insurance solutions.

With the theme, “Crafting Insurance Solutions: A Collaborative Approach from the Client’s Lens,” this year’s Insurance Hub encouraged a fresh perspective on how insurance providers can better serve their clients. The event included discussions which aims to instill early financial literacy, equipping young people with knowledge on financial security and risk management.
According to Miss Josephine Bosompem, Manager for Sales & Marketing, Equity Health Insurance emphasized that "educating youth on financial planning is crucial for their future well-being and stability."
Speaking at the event, the CEO of Equity Health Insurance Dr Elton Fedrick Afari, expressed his enthusiasm for the event, stating that it reflects the company's commitment to meeting customer needs and advancing the industry.

He highlighted that “the Insurance Hub” serves as a centralised platform for policyholders to compare quotes, receive personalized recommendations, and access essential resources for informed decision-making regarding their insurance coverage.
The event featured discussions on how collaboration among insurers, brokers, and stakeholders can drive innovation and improve industry standards. Notably,managing Director of Kek Insurance Brokers Limited, Shaibu Ali, Leona Lillian Abban of Turaco Ghana, General Manager, Nana Yaw Owusu Dwomah, Josephine Bosompem, Sales Manager & Marketing Manager, urged attendees to prioritize insurance as a means of protection against unforeseen challenges.
The initiative which not only seeks to clarify misconceptions about insurance also emphasizes its role in providing financial security and peace of mind for individuals and families across Ghana. The Insurance Hub initiative underscored Equity Health Insurance's commitment to empowering clients and fostering a financially conscious generation.
