Inter Allies got back to winning ways in the Ghana Premier League after defeating Tema Youth 1-0 at the El wak stadium in the last set of fixtures for matchday 8 in the Ghana Premier League.
Wahab Ackwei scored the only goal as Prince Owusu's side recorded only their second win of the season to climb up the league table after a poor start to the season.
The midfielder headed home David Abanga’s corner kick on the stroke of halftime to give the home side the advantage which they held on to claim the priceless points.

The Harbour City boys came out more determined to level the score after the recces but the home side’s defense stood resolute.
Frederick Boateng blasted his shot into the sky after he had been put through by midfielder Isaac Twum in a chance which could have strengthened the positions of Inter Allies.
Tema Youth probed and piled pressure on the home side in the dying embers as they searched for the equalizer but could not break the stubborn Inter Allies defense as they held on to record their third win of the season.
The win elevates Inter Allies from 15th to 12th position with 12 points after match day 8.
