A HOT dog eating ¬competition has opened a female-only category after men won the contest 95 years in a row.
The International Hot Dog Eating Contest in Coney Island, New York, is held every July 4, but a woman has never won.
Last year only two females, Sonya Thomas and Juliet Lee – who hold records in cheesecake and cranberry sauce eating – made it to the finals.
