Ghana defender Jonathan Mensah had his father and brother flown to France to offer him support as he recovers from his latest injury setback.
The 24-year-old picked up an ankle injury while in action for the Black Stars in last week’s 2-1 defeat to Senegal in an international friendly.
The injury kept Mensah out of action in Evian TG’s 2-2 draw away to Nice on Saturday.
The towering defender is however glad to have his family around in support on his ‘road to recovery’.
“Blessed to have the family around to support, Daddy and his boys, Road to recovery,” Mensah said in a picture post on Instagram.
Mensah has made just 10 league starts for Evian this season – owing his limited first team opportunities to injuries.
The family is likely to return to Ghana by April ending.
