A legendary Spanish guitarist–Joseta Ordonez-led his young Ghanaian counterpart Kyekyeku in a gala of sumptuous Spanish-Ghanaian guitar rhythms to climax a confluence of cultural activities by the Spanish Embassy here in Ghana. In what will be his first ever performance in Africa, Joseta set out to thrill his Ghanaian audience with is mastery on the strings and he sure did not disappoint. For a little over an hour, the Spanish legend with his right leg crossed on the left, his guitar stashed in his armpit, caressing the strings, as if he was making love to it, smiling at one moment, frowning at another, tilting slightly off his seat and returning to it and providing a scintillatingly melodious Spanish rhythm which kept patrons at the Alliance Francaise arena gazing, tapping and clapping for most times. The Ghanaian and African rhythm reverberated as Kyekyeku, a graduate from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and his Burkinabe counterpart - Siaka Darrah- were not overawed at all, serving rollicking guitar tunes.
