Bubiashie, one of Accra’s many popular suburbs has for decades now had to endure the tag of a community plagued by misdemeanor.
The community earned this unenviable tag because most of the youth have dropped out of school or have suffered a lack of proper nurturing because they have come from broken homes.
A good number of them have also been products of single mothers who themselves were victims of teenage pregnancy.
Times are however changing and along with that the negative reputation of Bubiashie, reports Joy News’ Sheila Hazel Adjaye.
