The CEO of Sapholda Ventures, Adolf Tetteh Adjei, has urged corporate Ghana to embrace the JoySports Invitational tournament and participate because of the enormous benefits.
The 2025 edition, takes place on August 9, 2025 at the University of Ghana Stadium.
The day will kick off with an early morning aerobics session, providing participants with the perfect warm-up and setting the tone for the day’s activities.
Throughout the tournament, companies will compete in a wide range of exciting events, including:
CEO’s Penalty Shootout
Women’s Penalty Shootout
Mixed 4Ă—100m Relay
Basketball Shooting Contest
Mixed Volleyball
Women’s 50m Dash
Men’s 100m Dash
Mixed Sack Relay
Lime and Spoon Relay
Scrabble
Board and E-Games
Mr. Adjei, a former winner of the CEOs penalty shootout, says he and his team are ready to dominate.
"The competition was on a five-year hiatus before returning last year — and that break might be part of the reason I didn’t win the CEO's Penalty Shootout. But this year, I'm coming back stronger. I finished second last time, and now I'm coming for the trophy."
"Events like this offer so many benefits to companies — from team bonding to brand visibility. I’m encouraging as many organizations as possible to sign up and take part."
"I'm especially looking forward to seeing some new faces join the competition this year," he added.
The stage is set for another unforgettable event. Companies are encouraged to begin preparations and assemble their teams now.
