Whatever the status of the paternity lawsuit that's been filed against Justin Bieber may be, one thing we know for sure: the hearing scheduled in December is no longer on the calendar. TMZ reported Wednesday that the lawsuit lobbed at Bieber earlier this month has been dismissed. Mariah Yeater, the 20-year-old woman who claims she became pregnant with her infant son after having sex with the teen star backstage at a concert last year, was seeking to "scientifically confirm" that Biebs is the dad and to seek child support. Since news of the suit arrived, Bieber's team has denied the allegations. Last week it was reported that the 17-year-old was going to take a DNA test, and then potentially even sue Yeater for making the allegations. Karen Dalton, Public Affairs Officer for the Superior Court of San Diego County, tells CNN that she can't confirm that the paternity case has been dismissed because of confidentiality laws. But she does say, that "There is no longer a hearing scheduled for December 15." The office of attorney Matt Pare tells CNN that he no longer represents Yeater. The office of her other reported attorney, Lance Rogers, isn't commenting on Rogers' status as Yeater's representation. Neither attorney had a comment on the case.
