Keke Palmer and Darius Jackson‘s first baby has arrived!
The actress gave birth to a son, which they’ve named Leodis Andrellton Jackson (lovingly nicknamed Leo), on Saturday, Feb. 25.
Taking to social media on Monday, the actress revealed the amazing news, sharing a glimpse into her and Jackson’s life as first-time parents.

Fans were first met with a photo of the couple after “only 48 hours of being parents,” as well as video of the two of them jamming out to “Someone” by El Debarge.
“We became each other’s someone and made a someone, look at God!” Palmer explained in her post.
The actress also shared intimate photos of them holding their son, as well as solo shots of baby Leo.
“I’m not hiding the world from my son, I’m hiding my son from the world,” she captioned the picture.

Palmer, 29, confirmed pregnancy rumors during her “Saturday Night Live” monologue in December.
“I want to set the record straight — I am [pregnant],” the former Disney Channel star told viewers, gushing about how “beyond blessed” she felt to be starting family.
“I am so excited, guys,” she added. “I’m gonna be a mom!”

Although Palmer and Jackson mostly keep their relationship out of the public eye, the fitness instructor did hint at his girlfriend’s due date.

“2023,” he captioned photos of the “Nope” star’s budding belly via his Instagram Stories at the time.
Prior to her pregnancy, Palmer spoke to Ricky Smiley about wanting to have kids “at some point” in her life.
“I don’t want to have kids too later on because I definitely want to be able to get that snap back,” she explained during an August 2019 interview. “But at the same time, I don’t really want to have a kid just yet.”
She did, however, note that the “clock [was] ticking.”

The following year, the “True Jackson VP” alum was diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome, which is a hormonal disorder that can be characterized by excess hair growth, obesity and infertility.
Palmer wrote via Instagram in December 2020 that PCOS had been “attacking” her body her entire life, linking it to her acne struggles.
“My acne has been so bad that people in my field offered to pay for me to get it fixed,” she told her followers. “I tried EVERYTHING. I did all that, I ate all the ‘right’ things, my blood tests were fine.
“It took ME taking a personal look into my family that has a history of diabetes and obesity to understand what was ACTUALLY happening with me,” Palmer concluded, telling those suffering that they are “not alone” and “f–king fine.”
The “Akeelah and the Bee” star often hits back at social media trolls criticizing her skin, clapping back at haters calling her “ugly” in December.
“I’m beautiful in real life, because of who I am, not what I look like,” she tweeted. “Truly it’s insane to say anyone is ugly, but especially me.”
