Ghanaian Afrofusion artiste Kelalie has been crowned winner of the second edition of the Let’s Hear It Open Mic competition, a feat that marks a major milestone in his fast-rising music career.
The event, hosted by media personality Ohemaa Blondie, brought together some of the most promising emerging talents on the Ghanaian music scene.
Kelalie stood out with a compelling performance that highlighted his vocal strength, emotional depth, and commanding stage presence.
As part of his win, he has secured a fully sponsored trip to the United Kingdom, where he will represent Ghana by performing at Ghana Party in the Park 2026 in collaboration with Akwaaba UK. The annual festival is one of Europe’s largest celebrations of Ghanaian culture, music, and heritage, drawing thousands of attendees from across the diaspora.

Speaking on the achievement, Kelalie expressed gratitude for the platform and the opportunity to share his sound beyond Ghana’s borders, describing the moment as a significant step towards taking his music to the world.
The win further strengthens Kelalie’s growing reputation as one of the new voices shaping the future of Afrofusion, blending Afrobeats, R&B, and soul into a sound that is both authentic and globally appealing.
With international exposure on the horizon, Kelalie’s journey continues to gather momentum as he prepares to take his artistry to the UK stage in 2026.
