Serbian coach Slavisa Bozicic has signed a new three-year contract with Ghanaian top-flight side King Faisal.
The new deal will see Bozicic pocket $3,000 (over GHS 17,000) as monthly salary, Joy Sports can confirm.
He has been tasked to finish in the top four in the upcoming 2020-21 Ghana Premier League season.
Bozicic is reported to have been approached by Hearts of Oak, who want to part ways with interim coach Edwin Nii Odoom, but he turned them down.
The 54-year was appointed in January with the club performing poorly in the league. He was not able to end their run of bad results before the season was suspended and eventually cancelled because of coronavirus pandemic.
However, the new management headed by former Kotoko Chief Executive, George Amoako, have confidence in him.
