The management of Kumasi Asante Kotoko FC has appointed Awudu Nuhu as the physical trainer of the Club as part of measures aimed at re-structuring the technical team.
Clifford Odame, a former player of the Club has also been drafted to assist the care-taker coach, Samuel Opoku-Nti.
The new appointments come in the wake of the resignation of Coach Ebo Mends on Monday, barely 24 hours after Kotoko's 0-1 defeat by arch rivals Accra Hearts of Oak in a Glo-Premier League match at the Baba Yara Stadium, Kumasi last Sunday.
The defeat drew anger from the large Kotoko following who questioned the professional competence of Coach Mends and demanded his immediate dismissal.
Last Sunday's defeat is the third time that the Porcupine Warriors, who are on the fifth position of the League table, have experienced after they lost in earlier matches to Kessben-Medeama and King Faisal F/C's in their first and eighth week fixtures.
Mr Jarvis Peprah, Kotoko's Public Affairs Manager, told GNA Sports that Ahmed Rockson who was part of the dissolved Ebo Mends-led technical team has also been relieved of his post.
He said he was hopeful that the changes would help the Club to achieve its ambition of winning the League.
When the GNA Sports visited the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi on Tuesday morning, the team was busily engaged in a training session with the new technical team as they took the players through a strict training regimen ahead of their 10th week match against Aduana Stars.
