The Chief Executive Officer of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Dr. K. K. Sarpong has said that the team’s target is to win the MTN FA Cup and secure the second spot on the Glo Premier League table as the season comes to an end.
According to Dr. Sarpong, winning the league this season is unrealistic but believes they can finish second behind Berekum Chelsea and win the FA cup as well.
In an interview on Asempa Fm’s Sports Morning Show on Wednesday, Dr. Sarpong attributed their recent good performance to the immense support the team has enjoyed from the Otumfuom, Osei Tutu II and other stakeholders of the club.
He assured the fans that they will do everything humanly possible to maintain and sustain their current momentum to make the sponsors and supporters happy.
