Former President John Agyekum Kufuor, leaves Accra for Tunis, Tunisia and Shanghai, China, to address two separate international forums.
His trip to Tunis is at the invitation of the African Development Bank where he will be the featured dignitary at this
Former President Kufuor will speak on “Challenges and Opportunities of Entrepreneurship Capacity Development in Africa” at the Forum which offers eminent personalities to share their views about sustainable peace, governance, economic growth as well as the environment.
In Shanghai, he will participate in the Second China-Africa Forum on the theme: “People’s Voice, People’s Friendship and Cooperation of the People.”
The session to be attended by about 1,500 delegates is dedicated to exploring new ideas on win-win cooperation, new measures of common development and new mechanisms of bilateral NGO Africa-China exchange.
It is being organized by the China-NGO Network and the African Union.
Former President Kufuor will be away for about 10 days.
